YOUR VOICE Letters, posts, emails & tweets from our members INSPIRING THROUGH HONESTY TWEET US! twitter.com/DC_Bar OUR MEMBERS, THEN & NOW BEING BRAVE & SEEKING HELP WE'RE LISTENING, READERS I read the January/February 2019 issue cover to cover. What I was most impressed with was the honesty from the subjects who took part in the issue. It's difficult for lawyers to admit that they are struggling with personal issues. I have been a D.C. Bar member since 1976. Over the past year, it has become increasingly difficult physically to read the articles in the print version of Washington Lawyer. The choice of font and its light greyness make it difficult to actually read the words on the page. Please consider your readers and adjust your font to one that is more standard in print media. I look forward to reading my magazine, but the eye strain is causing me to throw it aside. Anna Stolley Persky's article "When Judges Need Help" was especially interesting to me. Judges are often held to a much higher standard and can never let their guard down. So, when judges can admit to personal struggles and other challenges, I believe it can make it easier for others in the profession to seek help. Sue Wallace Washington, D.C.
