BAR HONORS ROSENBERG, MARSHALL AWARD WINNERS
The D.C. Bar honors Douglas N. Letter, general counsel of the U.S. House
of Representatives and former director of the Department of Justice's
Civil Division Appellate Staff, as winner of its 2020 Beatrice Rosenberg
Award for Excellence in Government Service. The Bar also recognizes
Katherine Shelley Broderick, a former dean at the University of the District
of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law, as the recipient of its 2020
Thurgood Marshall Award for her commitment and initiative in pursuing
equal justice and opportunity for all Americans.
