Disciplinary Actions Taken by the
District of Columbia Court of Appeals
Original Matters
In re Glenn H. Stephens III. Bar No. 472780.
March 25, 2021. The D.C. Court of Appeals
disbarred Stephens based on his consent.
Reciprocal Matters
In re William F. Burton. Bar No. 431812.
February 25, 2021. In a reciprocal matter from
Maryland, the D.C. Court of Appeals imposed
reciprocal discipline and disbarred Burton. In
Maryland, Burton was disbarred by consent
for habitual neglect of client matters,
knowing misrepresentations to a client, and
failure to respond to disciplinary inquiries.
In re Ashley Ann Krapacs. Bar No. 1045497.
February 25, 2021. In a reciprocal matter from
Florida, the D.C. Court of Appeals imposed
reciprocal discipline and disbarred Krapacs.
In Florida, Krapacs was found to have
attempted to extort a former romantic
partner and then systematically harassed
lawyers due to their representations of particular
clients, resulting in one attorney
obtaining an anti-stalking injunction against
Krapacs.
Interim Suspensions Issued by the District
of Columbia Court of Appeals
In re Debra L. Ackerman. Bar No. 411659.
March 29, 2021. Ackerman was suspended on
an interim basis based upon discipline
imposed in Maryland.
In re Kevin E. Clinesmith. Bar No. 984265.
February 1, 2021. Clinesmith was suspended
on an interim basis based upon his conviction
of a serious crime in the United States
District Court for the District of Columbia.
In re James J. Fournier. Bar No. 462429.
February 1, 2021. Fournier was suspended
on an interim basis based upon discipline
imposed in Maryland.
In re Justin Richard Infurna. Bar No. 1002621.
February 17, 2021. Infurna was suspended on
an interim basis, effective immediately, based
on an order of the Supreme Court of Florida
suspending him from the practice of law
on an emergency basis.
In re Nicholas G. Karambelas. Bar No. 332619.
March 12, 2021. Karambelas was suspended
on an interim basis based upon discipline
imposed in Maryland.
In re Timothy J. Murphy. Bar No. 456216.
February 17, 2021. Murphy was suspended
on an interim basis based upon discipline
imposed in Maryland.
In re Lawrence D. O'Neill. Bar No. 265702.
March 11, 2021. O'Neill was suspended on an
interim basis pursuant to D.C. Bar R. XI, § 9(g),
pending final action on the Board on Professional
Responsibility's November 12, 2020,
recommendation of disbarment. O'Neill was
also suspended on February 3, 2021, on an
interim basis based upon consideration of
a verified petition of Disciplinary Counsel
on behalf of the Board on Professional
Responsibility pursuant to D.C. Bar Rule XI,
§ 3(c)(1).
In re Timothy Guy Smith. Bar No. 417768.
March 11, 2021. Smith was suspended on an
interim basis pursuant to D.C. Bar R. XI, § 9(g),
pending final action on the Board on
Professional Responsibility's December 17,
2020, recommendation of disbarment.

February 1, 2021. Smith was suspended on an
interim basis based upon discipline imposed
in Maryland.
In re Athanasios T. Tsimpedes. Bar No. 452341.
February 1, 2021. Tsimpedes was suspended
on an interim basis based upon discipline
imposed in Maryland.

November 6, 2012, the Virginia State Bar
Disciplinary Board publicly admonished
Delsordo.

October 31, 2019, the Attorney Discipline
Probable Cause Committee of the Supreme
Court of Arizona admonished Jackson.
In re David C. Jones. Bar No. 449684. On
January 21, 2020, the Virginia State Bar
Disciplinary Board publicly reprimanded Jones.
In re Vaughan C. Jones. Bar No. 1018118. On
February 10, 2014, the Third District
Subcommittee of the Virginia State Bar
publicly reprimanded Jones.

October 8, 2014, the Circuit Court for the City
of Richmond publicly reprimanded Jones.

October 4, 2019, the Supreme Court of New
Jersey censured Silverman.

On October 4, 2019, the Board of Professional
Responsibility of the Supreme Court of
Tennessee censured Stewart.
In re Charles E. Taylor. Bar No. 297424. On
March 19, 2020, the Virginia State Bar
Disciplinary Board publicly reprimanded
Taylor.
