Serving the Community The D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center's Nonprofit & Small Business Legal Assistance Programs strengthen the community by providing legal information, representation, and training to community-based nonprofits that serve the District's low-income residents and small businesses that strengthen the economic life of D.C. neighborhoods. We gratefully acknowledge our generous partners and volunteers who made our work possible in 2019. With their help, we delivered pro bono legal services to 149 nonprofits and 445 small businesses, and we provided legal training to 1,164 nonprofit managers and 452 small business owners.
