In re Brian S. Brown. Bar No. 399542.
October 16, 2018. The Board on
Professional Responsibility's
Hearing Committee Number Four
recommends that the D.C. Court of
Appeals accept Brown's petition for
negotiated discipline and suspend
Brown for 30 days, stayed in favor
of six months of unsupervised probation with conditions for violations of Rules 1.1(b), 1.3(a), 1.3(b)(1),

In re Edward Gonzalez. Bar
No. 426584. October 24, 2018.

The Board on Professional
Responsibility recommends that

fitness. While retained to represent a husband and wife in a
bankruptcy matter, Gonzalez
failed to explain matters to the
extent reasonably necessary to
permit his clients to make
informed decisions regarding the
representation, failed to take
timely steps to the extent reasonably practicable to protect his
clients' interests in connection
with the termination of representation, and engaged in conduct
that seriously interfered with the
administration of justice. Rules
1.4(b), 1.16(d), and 8.4(d).

days with fitness and further recommends that the period of suspension imposed in this case not
be considered as precedent in
future cases. Salgado engaged in
commingling and failed to keep
adequate records of his handling
of entrusted funds. Rule 1.5(a) and
D.C. Bar R. XI ยง 19(f).
In re Jason Mark Sims. Bar
