In re Mariatu Kargbo. Bar No.
983163. April 23, 2018. Kargbo
was suspended on an interim
basis based upon the Court of
Appeals of Maryland placing
Kargbo on inactive status
because of disability.
In re Scott M. Marinelli. Bar No.
480602. May 29, 2018. Marinelli
was suspended on an interim
basis based upon discipline
imposed in New Jersey.
In re Wendell Robinson. Bar No.
377091. May 30, 2018. Robinson
was suspended on an interim basis
pursuant to D.C. Bar R. XI, § 9(g),
pending final action on the Board
on Professional Responsibility's
April 4, 2018, recommendation of a
one-year suspension.
In re Jason Mark Sims. Bar No.
985903. May 29, 2018. Sims was
suspended on an interim basis
based upon his conviction of a
serious crime in the United States
District Court for the Eastern
District of Virginia.

In re Raouf M. Abdullah. Bar No.
475700. On September 22, 2017,
the Court of Appeals of Maryland
reprimanded Abdullah for failing
to adequately supervise a subordinate attorney.
In re Scott G. Adams. Bar No.
362280. On June 26, 2017, the

Maine Board of Overseers of the
Bar publicly reprimanded Adams
for knowingly taking a confidential document he was not
entitled to.
In re Elizabeth M. Fischer. Bar No.
461184. On March 26, 2012, the
Virginia State Bar, Fourth District,
Section II Subcommittee, reprimanded Fischer for violating
rules relating to diligence, communication, and declining or
terminating representation.
In re Sean A. Ravin. Bar No.
447402. On October 19, 2017, the
United States Court of Appeals
for Veterans Claims publicly reprimanded Ravin for violation of
rule relating to candor to a
tribunal.
In re Tara Steinnerd. Bar No.
983493. On December 8, 2017,
the Virginia State Bar, Fourth
District, Section I Subcommittee,
publicly reprimanded Steinnerd
for willfully and intentionally violating the stay in her former
client's bankruptcy matter by
continuing collection efforts.
In re Matthew F. Stowe. Bar No.
482042. On September 12, 2017,
the Supreme Court of Tennessee
censured Stowe for harassment
of a witness.
In re Derek R. Van Gilder. Bar No.
423851. On September 8, 2016,
the State Bar of Texas publicly
reprimanded Van Gilder for a
conflict of interest.
In re Amy L. Wilson. Bar No.
485588. On October 30, 2017, the
Virginia State Bar, Fifth District,
Section II Subcommittee, reprimanded Wilson for violating
ethical rules relating to diligence,
communication, fees, safekeeping
property, and declining or terminating representation.

In re Benjamin J. Woolery. Bar No.
422203. On December 15, 2017,
the Court of Appeals of Maryland
reprimanded Woolery for misconduct while acting as personal
representative when he disposed
of property without first ascertaining its ownership or value,
and thereafter failed to rectify his
error because of his antipathy to
the property's owner.
Informal Admonitions Issued
by the Office of Disciplinary
Counsel
In re Evangeline Covington.
Bar No. 429791. March 7, 2018.
Disciplinary Counsel issued
Covington an informal admonition. While retained to represent
a client in a medical malpractice
matter, Covington failed to
properly serve the defendant in
the underlying case, resulting in
the matter being dismissed
without prejudice, requiring that
it be refiled. In addition, when
co-counsel from another law firm
was retained, Covington provided
a writing that did not set forth the
contemplated division of responsibility and anticipated effect of
the association, nor did it seek or
provide for informed consent to
the co-representation. Rules 1.1(a)
and 1.5(e).
In re Anthony Graham Sr. Bar No.
426073. April 19, 2018.
Disciplinary Counsel issued
Graham an informal admonition.
While retained as co-counsel
with a lawyer from another law
firm to represent a client in a
medical malpractice matter,
Graham failed to provide his
client a writing setting forth the
division of fees with the other
lawyer. Rule 1.5(e)(2).
In re Andrea J. Larry. Bar No.
463015. May 8, 2018. Disciplinary

Counsel issued Larry an informal
admonition. Larry was involved
in an incident on an Amtrak train
that led to her removal from the
train and her arrest, and thereafter Larry returned to her job
and sent an email to her supervisor that minimized her misconduct and did not forthrightly and
honestly disclose the circumstances that led to her arrest and
the behavior that occurred after
her arrest. Rule 8.4(c).

The Board on Professional
Responsibility's Ad Hoc Hearing
Committee recommends that
the D.C. Court of Appeals accept
Anderson's petition for negotiated discipline and suspend her
for one year with fitness and pay
restitution to the client of $2,900,
with interest, as a precondition to
a petition for reinstatement for
violations of the Rules. The allegations that were brought to the
attention of Disciplinary Counsel
are that Anderson violated Rules
1.1(a), 1.1(b), 1.3(a), 1.3(c), 1.4(a),
1.4(b), 1.16(d), 5.5(a), 8.1(b), 8.4(c),
and 8.4(d), as well as D.C. Bar Rule
XI, § 2(b)(3).
