The Evolution of a Leader
By Ronald Goldfarb
obert F. Kennedy was not a legal scholar, nor a seasoned
trial lawyer, nor a likely candidate to become the nation's
64th attorney general. However ill-equipped he was
when he started the job, when he served he belonged in
the pantheon of great attorneys general. As Washington Lawyer
commemorates the 50th anniversary of RFK's death, D.C. Bar
member and former RFK colleague Ronald Goldfarb shares
stories of his time serving under the tough-minded yet heartful
attorney general and senator.
