The entrance, with its dramatic 16-foot-high ceiling,
showcases the same Italian marble used in the
Lincoln Memorial. The walls are flanked with
columnar lights meant to evoke a courthouse,
symbolizing the Bar's D.C. roots and role in the legal
community. At the end of the lobby is a giant spiral
staircase leading to the second-floor atrium and
training rooms.

The second floor has a large state-of-the-art classroom space for CLEs that can remain as one large
room or be broken into four or fewer separate classrooms, each with overhead projectors. The building's structure and ceiling heights are tailored to
provide superior training room settings, equipped
with the latest technology. There is ample space for
mingling and socializing after seminars. This breakout space, both indoor and outdoor, is intended to
foster collegiality and interaction.

To capture the Bar's focus on employee wellness,
daylight fills the space throughout, and every
employee has an adaptable workstation that
includes a motorized standing desk. "If you want
quiet areas, you're going to the quieter zones in
your office as a workstation. If you want to be seen,
if you want to huddle," the diversity of spaces are
meant to be adaptable, Dake says.
